CHENGDU, July 28 (Xinhua) - The 2nd Pan-PRD Regional Economic and Trade Fair is closed in Chengdu, capital city of southwest China’s Sichuan province, on Thursday.
4473 cooperating projects were signed during three days, valued 453.5 billion Yuan (54.8 billion US dollars), declared by Yang Zhiwen, vice governor of Sichuan province.
The cooperating projects were mainly focused in manufacture, trade, and tourism, in which manufacture occupied most proportion of the total investment, 33.75%.
The Pan-Pearl River Delta Region, known as 9+2, comprises Guangdong, Hainan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Hunan, Jiangxi and Fujian provinces and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions.
The land space of the eight provinces and one autonomous region accounts for one-fifth of Chinese mainland's total space. Its population and economic strength account for one third of the mainland's total. Enditem |
